Why Builder-Vetted Means Something

Anyone can buy a five-star badge. Nobody can buy a builder putting their own name on the line.

What a builder knows about a plumber that a review site doesn’t

A homeowner sees a plumber for two hours. A builder sees the same plumber across a whole house: rough-in, inspection, pressure test, finish, the first winter, and the warranty year after that. A builder knows whether the work passed the county inspector the first time, whether the crawl-space lines froze in January, whether the plumber showed up on the day the drywall crew was waiting, and whether there was a callback. Those are the things that cost a builder money and reputation, so they’re the things a builder actually tracks.

The bar

The plumber behind this site is the one a local custom home builder — the endorser named in the footer — uses on their own Teton Valley and Jackson-side projects. That means, in practice:

Licensed and verifiable

Idaho plumbing contractor license through DOPL, plus the Teton County, Wyoming credentials for Alta and Jackson work. You can check both.

Inspected on real houses

Work that has passed Teton County, Idaho and Teton County, Wyoming inspections on new construction, not just service calls nobody looks at.

Winter-proven

Rough-ins that have been through a −30°F January in a house the builder still answers for.

Shows up

A builder’s schedule doesn’t forgive no-shows. The plumber who’s still on the roster is the one who kept showing up.

What the builder gets, and what you get

The builder gets a referral channel for the service calls a builder doesn’t do — water heaters, drains, frozen pipes on houses they didn’t build. You get a plumber who has already been through the hardest vetting there is: the kind where someone else’s money was on the line.

What this site is not

This is not a lead-selling service that sends your call to whoever paid this week. One plumber, chosen by one builder, standing behind the work. If that ever changes, this page changes with it.

Vetted by a builder who has to live with the work

SwagerBuilds is a 4th-generation custom home builder working Driggs, Victor, Tetonia, Alta and Jackson. The plumber behind this site is the one that builder trusts on their own jobs — licensed, inspected on real Teton Valley houses, and expected to show up when it’s twenty below. See SwagerBuilds in Teton Valley.
